Babcock & Helliwell offers Energi^SM, an alternative insurance program that offers retail and wholesale energy distributors savings and long-term stability for their insurance and risk management programs.

In the past ten years, more than 30 insurance companies have withdrawn from the fuel distribution market. To address this need, Conifer Energy and a select group of solid, financially stable companies concerned with insurance, finance, loss prevention, and safety developed Energi.SM

This program offers you the protection you need — property, general liability, commercial automobile, excess liability (limits up to $50 million), director’s and officer’s liability, EPLI, and pollution liability — including site. In addition, the program includes unique services and features not available elsewhere at competitive rates (workers’ compensation plans are available.)

In addition, companies that purchase insurance through EnergiSM become shareholders in Energi Holdings, Inc., a Delaware holding company, and benefit in a portion of the profits that the insurance companies would have earned. Profits can be distributed as dividends or retained — increasing the value of your share.

As a participant in the EnergiSM program, your company will receive an offering circular, which provides details on the operation of the company, the use of proceeds, the risk factors, and other details.
